Our Story
Life takes on a new kind of adventure when the kids are grown and it’s time to chase the next dream. You find a piece of land in a beautiful place—close to family if you’re lucky—and start building something of your own. We’re Wayne and Gretchen Boyd, crafting our dreams one piece at a time.
Based in Shelbyville, Kentucky, we work with fallen timber and old barn wood from right here in our community. Using our in-house sawmill, we give new life to each log, turning it into a one-of-a-kind piece meant to be lived with and enjoyed. We also offer sawmill services—bring your own log—or choose from our ready-cut slabs to create something truly personal.
Alongside our woodwork, we make specialty goods crafted from the soul, including premium 100% soy wax candles. Each one is hand-poured, richly scented, and set into hand-cut bourbon bottles and other unique containers—no two exactly alike
